1. Agreement to Terms

By booking an appointment at our physical clinic, completing a digital transaction on our online store, or interacting with our web domain (www.stskin.com.au), you contractually accept and agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

In these terms, "St. Skin," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the business entity operating in North Melbourne, Victoria. "You" or "your" refers to the client, customer, or web visitor.

2. Clinic Bookings and Deposit Policy

To maintain an orderly calendar and remain fair to our waiting list, St. Skin operates a strict booking framework.

  • Booking Deposit: A $90 booking deposit must be paid to secure all clinical appointment slots. This fee acts as a rolling credit and will be deducted from your final invoice on the day of your treatment.

  • Cancellations & Adjustments: Detailed timelines regarding notice periods, fee structures, and rescheduling criteria are fully outlined within our standalone Booking & Cancellation Policy.

3. Clinic Arrival and Lateness Rules

  • Punctuality: We advise arriving 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled treatment window to comfortably complete any essential medical intake documentation.

  • Treatment Shortening: If you run late, please phone the clinic immediately. While we strive to accommodate delays, your treatment duration will be compressed to conclude precisely at its scheduled time to avoid delaying subsequent clients. The standard full-service price remains payable.

  • Severe Lateness & Forfeiture: If your arrival is delayed to a point where the treatment cannot be safely or effectively executed before the scheduled conclusion time, the session will be formally cancelled. Your $90 deposit will be retained by the clinic as a late-cancellation fee, and an additional deposit will be required to book a future date.

4. Facility and Safety Regulations

St. Skin is a dedicated medical-grade aesthetic clinic. To maintain public safety and a serene clinical workspace, the following regulations apply:

  • Children Policy: Due to the physical operation of advanced high-intensity light and laser devices, specialised chemical peels, and standard clinical hazards, children are strictly prohibited from accompanying clients to appointments. Furthermore, our small boutique building spans a double-story layout that cannot physically accommodate prams. In emergency exceptions where a dependent must attend, you must contact our management team before booking to verify if a ground-floor room is available and if the treatment environment is safe.

  • Electronic Devices: Out of consideration for surrounding clients undergoing relaxation treatments, mobile devices must be switched to silent mode upon arrival. Answering voice calls during a treatment is prohibited.

  • Stairs and Accessibility: Our renovated character premises feature a multi-level layout where specific treatment rooms are accessible solely via stairs. If you possess specific mobility constraints or use a wheelchair, please flag this with our team before your session so we can coordinate your care in a ground-floor treatment room.

5. Consultations and Client Medical Responsibility

  • Truthful Disclosure: Skin treatments are active medical therapies. You are legally obligated to provide comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date data regarding your medical background, current prescription medications, allergies, and changes to pregnancy status before every single session.

  • Adverse Events: If you experience any severe physical discomfort, unusual skin changes, or suspected adverse reactions during or post-treatment, you must alert your St. Skin clinician immediately.

  • Right to Refuse Care: St. Skin clinicians reserve absolute professional autonomy to decline treatment administration if they judge a procedure to be unsafe, counter-productive, or medically inappropriate for your skin condition.

6. Online E-Commerce and Shipping Terms

The following terms govern all digital consumer purchases made via our website:

  • Order Processing: Upon completing an online transaction, an automated confirmation email will be issued within 15 minutes. Online orders are processed and packed on Australian business days only (excluding public holidays), typically dispatched either the day of purchase or the subsequent business day.

  • Tracking Data: Once a parcel is transferred to our courier network, an automated delivery tracking link will be delivered to your registered email address.

  • Shipping Thresholds: Freight and postage rates are transparently detailed during online checkout. Orders totalling over $150 qualify for complimentary standard domestic shipping.

7. Product Returns and Refunds (30-Day Policy)

Our product and service frameworks are completely compliant with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) consumer guarantees.

  • Treatment Services: We do not issue cash or credit refunds on completed clinical skin services. Dermal outcomes are biological and depend dynamically on genetics, internal health, metabolic profiles, and your strict adherence to mandatory home-care regimes.

  • Product Claims: If you are dissatisfied with a topical product purchase, we honour a 30-day return policy from the baseline transaction date under the following stipulations:

    • Faulty Merchandise: If an item is proven to feature a manufacturing fault (e.g., failed pump mechanism or structural packaging failure), a full replacement or refund will be issued.

    • Change of Mind: Change-of-mind exchanges are only permitted if the product is entirely unopened, completely unused, unsealed, and preserved in its pristine original retail packaging. Change-of-mind claims are compensated via store credit or product exchange.

    • Shipping Costs: All postal return expenses are borne by the purchaser, though return shipping costs may be reimbursed if the item is formally validated by our team as manufacturing-faulty. Proof of purchase is mandatory for all returns.

8. Gift Vouchers

  • Expiration Framework: Gift vouchers issued online, in-clinic, or via phone remain valid for a period of 3 years (36 months) from the verified date of purchase, in strict alignment with national Australian Consumer Law mandates.

  • Redemption Rules: Vouchers are non-refundable, non-redeemable for hard currency, and cannot be used to purchase additional gift vouchers. Vouchers may be applied toward either treatments or retail skincare products.

  • Loss and Security: If a gift voucher is lost or misplaced, St. Skin can reissue the asset provided the purchaser can supply the valid reference number and verifiable identity documentation. Physical vouchers or digital voucher codes must be presented at the clinic counter to finalise redemption.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service, along with your engagement with our physical clinic and digital channels, are entirely governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any legal disputes arising directly out of these terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
