FAQs
-
Our facial sessions are open to all clients, including those visiting St. Skin for the first time. We recommend booking a consultation first so your clinician can recommend the most appropriate session for your skin, but it is not a requirement.
-
The sessions increase in depth, time and inclusions. The Express Session is a focused 30 minute treatment covering the essentials. The Signature Journey extends to the face, neck and décolletage with artisan massage and tailored dermal time included. The Deluxe Experience is our most comprehensive facial session, adding clinical ampoule therapy and a customised cosmeceutical mask for the most complete result.
-
Classical facial techniques use professional hands-on methods including massage, manual extractions and targeted product application. Microdermabrasion uses a controlled mechanical exfoliation device to resurface the skin and improve texture and tone. Your clinician will recommend the most appropriate foundation based on your skin on the day.
-
DMK Enzyme Therapy is not a facial. It is a physiological treatment that uses a process called reverse osmosis to flood the skin cells with oxygen and nutrients while drawing out toxins, congestion and waste. It works at a cellular level in a way that topical treatments cannot replicate. It is one of the most clinically significant treatments we offer and sits at the foundation of many St. Skin treatment plans.
-
Enzyme Therapy at St. Skin is offered across 4 levels, from Level 1 through to Level 4 where appropriate. Each level is selected by your clinician based on your skin's current condition, treatment history and goals. Your clinician will advise which level is right for you at your appointment.
-
This depends on your skin, your goals and your treatment plan. As a general guide, most clients benefit from a facial session every 4 to 6 weeks. Your clinician will recommend a frequency that suits your skin and where you are in your journey.
-
Yes. Facial sessions are often combined with LED therapy, extractions or corrective actives as part of a broader treatment plan. Your clinician will advise on the best combination for your skin at your appointment.
-
Some treatments and actives are not recommended during pregnancy. Please let us know at the time of booking and your clinician will tailor your session accordingly.
