In some cases, Afterpay may require you to make a payment at the time of purchase.Alternatively, you can always make payments manually on time or early - by clicking on the PAY NOW button in your account online or in the App.
You can even pay less than the full instalment amount at any time. -
Setting up an Afterpay account is a simple process, and anyone over 18 can do it.
To make it quick and easy for you, they verify your identity electronically (rather than you having to do time-consuming paperwork).
Then, when you want to make a purchase with any of our partner retailers, just choose Afterpay as your chosen payment method at the checkout or by using the app in-store. -
Once you have signed up and have been approved, you will be given an amount you can use for purchases. The amount in your wallet depends on your background check and will vary from customer to customer.
It’s important to know that they do apply an approval process for individual purchases. This is because they’re completely committed to ensuring responsible spending.
The approval process takes a number of factors into account, including whether there are sufficient funds in your account (particularly for new customers), and how much you will have to repay on the purchase. They carry out this process on every order you make with Afterpay, not just the first one.
You should know that they don’t approve 100% of orders as they’re committed to ensuring responsible spending for Afterpay customers. -
Once your account is set up, you’re ready to shop!
For online order, you can simply add products to your cart and checkout as usual. Afterpay will be an available option on the payment screen.
For in-clinic orders, you can use your Afterpay Card to pay for products and services. You will need to download the Afterpay app and add your Afterpay Card to your wallet to make purchases. -
Yes, Afterpay is free! As a customer, and as long as you pay on time, Afterpay is a free service.
However, if you miss a payment, you will be charged a capped late fee that starts at $10 but never goes higher than 25% of the purchase price or $68 (whichever is less).
To help you avoid late fees, Afterpay will send reminders leading up to the payment due date and an alert after a payment has failed. -
Yes, you can make as many purchases as you wish as long as you still have funds in your wallet.
Once you have reached your limit, you can no longer make purchases until you start paying off your account.
HUMM

This service allows you to shop and pay for goods in instalments. These instalments are interest-free and can be made weekly or fortnightly.

HUMM and Afterpay are very similar as both services allow you to pay back in instalments, but the difference with HUMM is that you can purchase goods up to $30,000.
Another advantage with HUMM is you can choose when to make your payments. For instance, you purchase a product today and most services, including Afterpay will expect you to make a payment in exactly 2 weeks time.
With HUMM, you can choose to make payment according to your payday to make it convenient and more manageable.

HUMM has two types of “wallets”, one for “little things” and one for “big things”.
Little things are purchases up to $2,000 and big purchases are up to $30,000. Purchases up to $2,000 can be paid back in installments of 5 and 10 whilst larger purchases up to $30,000 is paid back over a period of 6,12, 24 and 60 months.

HUMM requires you to be at least 18 years of age, be a permanent resident of Australia, and you must have a permanent job with an average of 25 hours per week.
All you need is a passport, driver’s license OR medicare card to sign up. HUMM can be accessed via their website or you can download their app on IOS and Android.

Once you have signed up and have been approved, you will have access to your wall for small purchases. The amount in your wallet depends on your background check and will vary from customer to customer.
If your background information is all clear, most customers will receive up to $2,000 to make small purchases and this is their capped limit.
Once you have reached your capped limit, you can no longer purchase more products until your wallet has more funding by paying off your past purchases.

HUMM is very transparent and there are no hidden fees.
The only fee you will need to pay is if you choose to pay in 10 instalments for smaller purchases, you will need to pay $8 per month until you have finished paying off everything.
HUMM charges $6 for any late payments.

To purchase products for delivery, you will need to process this over the phone.

Our staff will give you a total price.
You can pay via bank transfer, EFTPOS, or HUMM.
If you choose to pay with HUMM, please let the staff know so they can start an application.
You will need to provide us with your barcode provided by HUMM.
We will let you know the repayments for 5 and 10 weeks. You will need to select one of these instalment plans.
You will need to confirm your order on HUMM via the app or on the website.
HUMM will notify you that your application is approved within seconds.
To pay for products or services in the clinic, the easiest way is to download the app to your phone and show us the barcode upon payment.
