Just about every new client who visits us is dealing with some sort of inflammation or gut health imbalance. This is why internal cleansing is an essential part of most skin journeys. You may have noticed us asking some very personal questions regarding your digestion, alas there is a method to our madness and this blog post will explain why we need to cleanse from within to get amazing skin.
The impacts of internal health
Your diet is not the only important factor when it comes to the health of your body, the health of your skin and recurring skin conditions.
We are skin nerds at St Skin and we have looked at the clinical evidence and it is shown that toxins, bacteria, viruses and fungi can all naturally reside within the human body. While these toxins are mostly harmless in small doses, if there is an overgrowth or buildup, the body may be unable to expel or regulate them. This can be due to poor lymphatics, out-of-balance hormones or a sluggish immune system.
