DMK’s Enzyme Therapy is a signature treatment designed to work with the skin to encourage optimal functioning rather than merely acting on the surface. The enzymes work to hydrolyse dead skin cells, increase oxygenation & cellular activity, encourage new collagen & elastin formation, as well as detoxify the skin.
Enzyme Therapy improves lymphatic drainage whilst eliminating toxins and impurities from the skin. This is achieved through transfer messenger enzymes encouraging circulation and oxygenation to replenish the skin and is known to result in a short time phenomenon called a “Plasmatic Effect”.

How does it work?

What does it involve?
Your dermal clinician will consult you and decide the appropriate level of Enzyme Therapy for your skin.
Your treatment will begin with a double cleanse and gentle exfoliation, as well as our signature scalp ritual.
The enzyme mask is then applied in gentle sweeping motions, starting from the chest and working up to to forehead. Once the application is complete, the mask is left to set for 40 minutes. During this time it will tighten, causing the skin to contract. Gentle pulsing can be felt as blood circulation increases.
Depending on the level of enzyme selected, a secondary layer of mask may be applied to enhance results.
The mask will be removed and appropriate skincare will be applied.

downtime requirements
There is no downtime required for Enzyme Therapy and clients can resume their usual daily activities immediately. Skin may appear flushed for a short time due to increased blood flow.
